blah, blah, blah

I'm sorry that I haven't posted at all this week ladies, but my life has been a dud. I've been fighting off this wierd stomach virus all week and feel completely lackluster. So nothing to report on this end, sadly. All I want to do is sleep and work just seems to keep getting in the way. Hopefully something fun will pop into my life in the next few days to report on.

get me out of this office...and into the weekend

I cannot begin to tell you all how happy I am that it is finally Friday. This has been the longest week in a really really long time and all I want to do is crawl into my bed and sleep for days. Unfortunately this weekend is jam-packed with events so that will not be happening. After my normal 9-5 hours in the office, I have to work a promo tonight (did I tell you all that I started doing alcohol promotions for some extra cash?). Tomorrow I need to get up early and head to my parent's house. We have a graduation party in the afternoon for a boy who I grew up with and I promised his mother that I would make my famous chicken dumplings as an app. My mom is going to help me during the day before the party to make them and then I'll be enjoying the afternoon with family and friends. Saturday night I'll be heading to Kevin's parent's lake house and spending the night there. His birthday is on Monday so Sunday will be spent at the lake celebrating with his family and friends. I feel like this weekend is going to be such a wirlwind that Monday morning is going to come waaaay too soon. Does anyone else ever wish that they could get a vacation from their actual vacation or weekends sometimes?

On another note I want to thank you all for your kind words in regards to my post below. I tried calmly exlpaining to him on several occasions about how I felt about our conversation but we never really got anywhere. At this point I think it's just going to fizzle out. I've been left with a really bad taste in my mouth from the whole thing and cannot help but keep it in the back of my mind though. Maybe he did say that and just doesn't want me to know, maybe he didn't. At this point I don't even want to discuss engagements and I wish that the whole thing had never happened.

P.S. Wednesday night I came home after a promo to a visitor in my house...a bat! Awful! Awful! Awful! Another post for another time...
